Eyewitnesses Often Don't See
We had a client who was alleged to have gone on a robbery spree across the city. In several close locations, he jumped out of a car stuck a gun in the face of people walking on the sidewalk and was supposed to have gotten their money and valuables, then hopped back in the car and sped away. All of the victims saw him and the gun close up, and under cross-examination Ray was able to show that none of them saw the same thing. Our client was supposed to be black, white, blue eyed, dark eyed, with a silver gun, holding a black gun.
